Impacting words indeed. FIRST - A project founded by Dean Kamen has not only impacted the lives of a bunch of people, but of millions of students! Team BSRC M.A.R’S #18025 is a part of that students group as well!

We’re a group of young STEM-enthusiasts from Pune, India! Our team comprises members from grades 7-10 and our team has been participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge since the past 5 years and have had all of our lives impacted! FIRST is so much more than robots and we’ve experienced that! From being a rookie team who won the Control Award in the 1st year, to becoming a well-known veteran team winning the INSPIRE Award twice; has all been an OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE.

We are a student driven club and since our 2nd year of participating in the FTC, our team consists of 70% rookie members! We select about 10 students every year from more than 50 applicants to get the best out of our team! The members are selected through a stringent selection criteria including written tests, interviews and aptitude discussions.

Being enthusiastic about STEM isn’t enough, we aim to combine that with passion, drive & determination to spread STEM-awareness to the remotest-corners of our lovely country! As they say, alone we do so little, together we can do so much!

Our team is as diverse as the country we represent. We all speak different languages, have varied-traditions & cultures, but are united in our passion for STEM!
