Alexis Alwin
Hi! My name is Alexis Alwin and I’m in 10th grade. This is my fourth year in BSRC. I mainly work in the branch of Design and Construction. My hobbies include playing cricket, football, badminton and table tennis. I also like playing the keyboard. I am really passionate about STEM and robotics and it has been my goal since I was five years old. I’m really thankful as I am a part of the BSRC team. I look forward to having a wonderful year ahead!

Abhiraj Karki
Hey! My name is Abhiraj and I'm a member of the software department at BSRC. I am in the 10th grade and this is my third year at BSRC. My hobbies are playing the guitar, the piano and football. The limitless possibilities of cutting-edge robotics technology and AI have captivated me, and I am thrilled to have applied for BSRC to delve deeper into these fields and unlock their full potential. Ever since I was in 6th grade, joining this club has been my lifelong dream. I can't express how much it means to me to finally become a member.

Annika Jain
Hey! I'm Annika and this is my third year at the BSRC. I mainly focus on the Business department but I have gained knowledge from all spheres of robotics. Robotics and STEM have always intrigued me and joining the BSRC has given me exposure to this vast community. I am passionate about astronomy and my hobbies include reading, listening to music, journaling and star-gazing.


David Abraham
Hello there! My name is David Abraham, and I am a member of the hardware department at BSRC. I am in 8th grade, and this is my third year at BSRC. When I'm not busy with school or work, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies. I am a huge fan of robotics; building and programming machines is incredibly fascinating to me, I also enjoy playing with Lego and being creative while using it, and playing sports like football, basketball, swimming, and karate. Joining BSRC has been a life-changing journey for me, as I got an opportunity to participate in competitions like the ‘FIRST Tech Challenge’.

Joanna Sandeep
Hello! My name is Joanna, and I’m a member of the hardware department in the robotics club. This is my first year in the lab, and I’m really excited to be part of such an inspiring environment. In my free time, I love reading and working on crafts, which help me express my creativity and patience—skills that are surprisingly useful in robotics too. Being part of the robotics club has been an amazing experience so far, and I’ve enjoyed learning how things are built and put together. The hands-on work and teamwork have made me appreciate robotics even more, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn as a new member.

Kian Nahata
Hey, I’m Kian Nahata. I’m in 8th grade and this is my second year at BSRC, where I’m part of the hardware department and get to try out cool projects and learn new things. I’m really into cars and racing, and I love watching Formula 1 for all the speed and strategy. In my free time, I enjoy playing cricket and swimming to stay active and have fun. Being at BSRC has been awesome for exploring my interests and learning new skills, and I’m excited to see what I can do next!


Kiara Lawrence
Hey! My name is Kiara and I'm a member of the business department at BSRC. I am in the 8th grade and this is my first year at BSRC. When I'm not hustling on content marketing and outreach for BSRC's business squad, I'm grooving to Bharatnatyam, jamming on piano, or doodling away with my sketches! The endless possibilities in these fields have hooked me, and I'm thrilled to dive in and unlock their potential!

Mahima Kirad
Hey! I’m Mahima Kirad, and I’m in Grade 9. This is my second year at the BSRC, and I primarily work as a part of the Hardware division. The realm of robotics and STEM has always fascinated me. I enjoy every moment of building, experimenting, and learning something new. Beyond STEM, I love exploring different hobbies like reading, playing the drums, and crocheting. It's an honor to be part of BSRC M.A.R.S.

Manit Kshettry
Hey! I’m Manit and I am in grade 10. This is my third year in The Bishop’s School Robotics Club (BSRC) and my primary group is in Programming. I have always been really passionate about STEM and my curiosity to learn more about this field led me to join BSRC and so far it has been a great learning experience. Other than robotics and STEM, my hobbies include guitar, various sports and reading. Some of my favorite sports include Badmintion and Football. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to be a member of this prestigious team!


Neona Sarma
Hello there! My name is Neona Sarma, and I’m in 8th Grade. This is my second year at BSRC. My primary focus is on Design and Construction but the software sector has always interested me. I’ve always had a fascination with robotics, if not from the moment I learnt it definitely from the moment i joined this efficient team and I’m looking forward to working planning and designing with this team. Ahead of STEM I have many hobbies including violin, writing, reading playwrights and poetry among many others. I am very honoured to be apart of BSRC and I hope to grow myself and it in the future!

Ruhaan Chugh
Hi. My name is Ruhaan Chugh. I am in the 7th grade and this is my second year in BSRC. I am part of the design and construction branch. I have always loved building with LEGO. I enjoy using my creativity to build different models and try new techniques. My hobbies include reading, trekking, drawing and I dabble in writing. With BSRC I have found my calling! It is allowing me to hone my skills and follow my passion. I am really thankful to be part of the team and am looking forward to an exciting year ahead.


Zainab Plumber
Hi, I’m Zainab, a Grade 6 student and a member of the Robotics Club. I enjoy learning about robotics and technology and love working on creative, hands-on projects. Apart from robotics, my hobbies include playing badminton, swimming, and cricket. I’m always excited to learn new skills and explore how technology can make a difference.
Our Mentor
Mr. Sumesh Jaiswal
Mr. Jaiswal has been mentoring robotics teams for the past 12 years including FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Robotics Competition and FIRST Global Challenge. He has also been a judge at FIRST Lego League and FIRST Global Challenge as well as a FIRST Global Diplomat.
He is a mechanical engineer from IIT Kanpur (India) and has been working with software companies for the past 26 years developing CAD software and security software technologies. He has 22 patents in his name issued by the US Patent Office and has presented research papers in various national and international conferences. He currently works with Broadcom Software as Technical Director and Software Architect.
