About Us
We are team Mad About Robots representing The Bishop's Co-Ed School, Kalyani Nagar :)
We are a group of ardent STEM enthusiasts from Pune, India! Our team is composed of students spanning across grades 6 through 12, and we have been participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge for the past 7 years!
About The First Tech Challenge
In The FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete against other teams in an alliance framework. Robots are built on a reusable platform driven by Android technology and may be programmed utilizing a number of Java-based programming levels.
Year 2021-22 -Freight Frenzy
Team M.A.R.S from BSRC took part in the FIRST Tech Challenge this year and stood 13th amongst 41 teams in the national competition and won the prestigious INSPIRE AWARD!.
Along with this, our team member -Ronav Jaiswal was the FIRST DEAN'S LIST FINALIST AWARD!

Year 2020-21 : First Innovation Challenge
This year we participated in the FIRST Innovation Challenge and designed our innovation STUNNER. We won the SEMI-FINALIST AWARD, FINALIST AWARD, BEST BUSINESS MODEL AWARD and COMMUNITY CHOICE AWARD! We were the only team to win 2 awards at the Global Innovation Awards!
Year 2019-20 : SkyStone
This year three teams from BSRC took part in the FTC: Team M.A.R.S, Team Nuts N' Bolts and Team Niwant that consisted of partially blind students from Niwant Andh Mukta Vikasalaya, a school for the visually impaired and we mentored them throughout the year! Team M.A.R.S won the INSPIRE AWARD and the FINALIST ALLIANCE AWARD! Team Nuts N’ Bolts got nominated for the THINK AWARD and Team Niwant won the PATH-BREAKERS AWARD.
Year 2018-19 : Rover Ruckus
This year three different team had participated from BSRC in FTC : Team M.A.R.S , Team AlphaTech and Team Tech Miners.Only Team M.A.R.S won an award this year which was FIRST FINALIST ALLIANCE AWARD. Team AlphaTech had reach the SEMI-FINALS and team Tech Miners were nominated for the MOTIVATE AWARD.
Year 2017-18 : Relic Recovery
This was our first year in FTC and three teams were participating from BSRC: Team M.A.R.S , Team Nuts N' Bolts and Team Alphas. Since this was our first year in FTC, only Nuts N' Bolts won the CONTROL AWARD and stood 4th..
